My Lounge at Gatwick North was known as The Gateway by easyJet until its rebrand in 2025, but the lounge itself has remained largely unchanged throughout. It opens from 5am and is one of the more unusual independent lounges in the UK: entirely glass-fronted with floor-to-ceiling windows, so every passing passenger can see into the space. It accepts Priority Pass, DragonPass, and cash walk-ins, and easyJet passengers on fully flexible tickets can enter for free. It is smaller and less well-equipped than No1 next door, and does not pretend to be otherwise — but it is usually quieter, opens earlier, and costs less.

Location & Getting There
My Lounge is in the main lounge corridor at Gatwick North, co-located with all other independent lounges. From security, turn left and follow the signs for Gates 45–55 and 101–113 through the duty free area. Do not take the escalators — follow the corridor underneath them, then turn right. My Lounge is immediately on your left as you enter the lounge corridor, before the shared No1 and Clubrooms reception desk. It is the first lounge you reach, making it the easiest to access quickly and the closest to the security exit.
Access Routes
My Lounge opens at 5am, making it one of the earliest-opening lounges in the North Terminal corridor and a practical option for very early departures. The easyJet flexible ticket benefit is worth knowing if you hold one — it provides free direct access without needing to pre-book or present a lounge card. The £6 pre-booking fee does not include fast-track security — fast-track can be added for a fee at the time of booking, or purchased separately via mygatwick.com (20% discount available with a free MyGatwick account).

The Lounge
My Lounge Gatwick North was originally opened as a straightforward independent lounge, then rebranded as The Gateway by easyJet during the pandemic before reverting to the My Lounge name in 2025. The interior is best described as coffee shop in style — warm, informal, with a relaxed atmosphere that sits closer to a café than a corporate lounge. It is laid out in an L-shaped format and is slightly larger than the My Lounge at the South Terminal. Seating includes armchairs, sofas, and café-style tables for couples and solo travellers. The lounge is entirely glass-fronted with floor-to-ceiling windows, which floods the space with natural light and is a clear advantage over the lower-level lounges in the corridor.
The space is smaller than No1. During peak periods it has been known to turn away Priority Pass cardholders without reservations, though it reaches this point less frequently than No1. Power sockets are limited, which is a consistent complaint from reviewers who want to work during their wait. There is no dedicated workspace beyond standard tables. The lounge is functional, clearly targeted at the leisure and budget end of the Gatwick North traveller profile, and does not oversell itself.
Food & Drink
A hot and cold buffet operates throughout the day, with a strong breakfast spread in the morning including a pancake machine. The self-pour drinks setup covers draft beer, wine, and spirits — there is no staffed bar; you pour your own. Sparkling wine is not available. The selection is adequate for a pre-flight stop and comparable to other budget-tier independent lounges.
My Lounge is the budget tier of the Gatwick North independent lounge stack. It does what it needs to without ambition or pretension. The early 5am opening and easyJet flex benefit give it two access routes that no other lounge in the corridor can match. For No1 Lounges fans, the Clubrooms directly above My Lounge is the premium equivalent at £15 supplement. For Amex Platinum and DragonPass holders without PP, Plaza Premium on the 4th floor is the standout alternative.
How It Compares
My Lounge sits at the budget end of the Gatwick North lounge corridor. No1 next door is larger, better stocked, and more feature-rich but also busier and higher priced. Club Aspire is a broadly comparable product in terms of format and price. Plaza Premium is in a different design league entirely, but does not accept Priority Pass. Clubrooms requires a £15 supplement but offers à la carte service and near-guaranteed quiet. My Lounge’s main practical advantages are its early 5am opening, the easyJet flex access route, and consistent availability outside peak windows — making it a reliable, if unglamorous, option for the significant proportion of Gatwick North passengers on early leisure departures.
Honest, functional, and reliably accessible — My Lounge North does not try to impress and largely succeeds at what it does offer. The industrial aesthetic is distinctive if not universally appealing, the glass frontage is unusual, and the early opening is a genuine advantage for the many early-morning easyJet and TUI departures from this terminal. The food is adequate, the bar is solid, and the limited sockets are the main practical frustration. Not a destination lounge, but a decent fallback — and occasionally the right primary choice for very early or budget-conscious departures.
